Sustainability at Sea1 Offshore

Sustainability at Sea1 Offshore is about operating our vessels responsibly, supporting our people and conducting business with integrity.

As a provider of offshore marine services, we recognise our responsibility to reduce environmental impact, maintain safe and attractive workplaces, and create long-term value for customers, employees and society. Through continuous improvement and responsible operations, we work to make sustainability an integral part of how we run our business every day.

Our priorities

Our sustainability efforts are focused on the environmental, social and governance topics that are most relevant to our business. These priorities guide our actions, targets and reporting, and help us create long-term value across our operations.

Climate change

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency are key priorities for Sea1 Offshore.

Through operational measures such as shore power utilisation, hull cleaning and digital performance monitoring, we continuously work to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions across the fleet. We also invest in future-ready vessel designs that support lower-emission offshore operations.

Pollution

Protecting the marine environment is fundamental to our operations.

We work systematically to minimise emissions to air, prevent accidental discharges and ensure responsible management of ballast water, bilge water, sewage and waste streams. Our vessels operate in accordance with international regulations and industry standards, supported by continuous monitoring and preventive measures.

Resource use and circular economy

Responsible resource management is integrated into how we build, operate and maintain our fleet.

We focus on improving resource efficiency, reducing waste and supporting responsible vessel recycling in accordance with recognised international standards. Through a lifecycle approach to vessel operations and maintenance, we aim to strengthen circular thinking across our value chain.

Our people

Our people are at the centre of our business.

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive working environment for both offshore and onshore employees. Through training, competence development and a strong safety culture, we support the wellbeing, engagement and long-term development of our workforce.

Attracting and developing the next generation of seafarers is also an important part of our commitment to a sustainable maritime industry.

Business conduct

Responsible business conduct is essential to maintaining trust and creating long-term value.

We are committed to operating with integrity, transparency and accountability. This includes compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ethical business practices, respect for human rights, and clear expectations towards suppliers, contractors and business partners.

Our Code of Conduct provides guidance for how we conduct business across all operations and markets.

Reporting and transparency

Transparency is an important part of our sustainability work.

We report our sustainability performance through recognised frameworks and transparent reporting. For more detailed information about our priorities, targets and performance, please download our latest Sustainability Statement.
